Nijel Redrick is an author, researcher, and risk management subject matter expert whose work connects disciplined reasoning with practical questions about vitality, organizational risk, learning, and resilience. His approach is grounded in examining the conditions that influence outcomes and organizing complex ideas into usable frameworks.

Nijel began his career as a mathematics educator before entering the information technology profession in 2007. His professional experience includes cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, audit, assurance, and workforce development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Howard University and maintains the CISSP, CCSP, CISA, and PMP certifications.

He is the creator of The Optimal Vitality Framework™ and the author of works addressing vitality, risk, cybersecurity, mathematics, and structured decision-making. Outside his professional and research work, he supports education, mentorship, family, and community initiatives.
